Our membership in the Industry Business Network 4.0 e.V. last year was the starting signal for our activities in the field of Industry 4.0. Now, thanks to the experience we have gained together with our association members in setting up Industry 4.0 reference systems, we want to bundle this expertise for our customers in the form of a technology platform called "EDC smartFIT connect".
The cost-effective individual adaptation as well as the electronics itself and the simple integration into existing machines and plants without changing the existing control system should be particularly attractive for medium-sized machine and plant manufacturers. New functions such as web server-based dashboards, connections to process control stations and cloud solutions can be easily and securely retrofitted.
