22.11.2018, Bad Wörishofen – For the 3rd time the Industry Business Network 4.0 e.V. invited to its Competence Center to the Congress Manufacturing 4.0, this time to open present its first reference plant with digital interlinked machines for the manufacturing of the future to representatives from the manufacturing industry, politicians, press as well as interested parties. Processes improved by the digitalisation of the machines to increase the value for the customer were demonstrated and show the result of a successful cooperation of the association members during the last year. Since joining the association, together with the association partners we have developed solutions for the digitalisation of e.g. guide machines, plasma cutting and filter systems on the basis of our newly created technology platform "EDC SmartFit Connect". In many interesting discussions with new customers, we were also able to identify even more application scenarios.
